Giving Hope in DuBois is a faith-based, community-led outreach organization that supports people experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, or housing instability, including those without shelter or living in temporary accommodations. We meet people where they are with practical assistance, meaningful connection, and pathways to lasting stability. By raising awareness of homelessness and its contributing factors, including financial distress, mental health challenges, and addiction, we mobilize the community to provide immediate relief, dignity, and compassionate care for a more hopeful future.
Help for neighbors facing financial hardship, with practical assistance and connections to resources that bridge the gap until they are back on their feet.
Support for individuals and families facing housing instability, helping them keep a roof overhead or find a safe, stable place to call home.
We meet neighbors without shelter where they are, with warm meals, care kits, compassionate connection and a path toward a safe place to stay.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
Matthew 25:35
